Mother Goose Nursery School (I never slept at naptime like the rest of the good little kids), Notre Dame Elementary School (I was traumatized for life the day I realized I had gone to 1st grade class without any underwear on under my little uniform skirt!), St. Isidore's Elementary School (the continuation of my Catholic School experience), Yuba City High School, Santa Clara University (the only "dry" campus that Playboy Magazine ranked as 1 of the Top 3 Party Schools in the US! Go Jesuits!), London School of Economics (I never made it to class! Favorite TV Shows:
I am too impatient to "wait until next week" for any continuing saga, so I don't watch alot of TV unless it's an individual show on HBO or the Discovery Channel. For those series that have gone to DVD, I am a junkie for Arrested Development, The Simpsons, Six Feet Under, Lost, and Queer as Folk (the much sexier British original)

About Me:
My pre-school teachers told my parents, "We think your child has a learning problem and needs to be sent to a special school. She didn't test-out like the other children. During the word association exercise, she responded to 'light' with 'as a feather'." They were expecting the typical answer of "dark". When they asked me to draw pink and blue bows on stick figures to demonstrate I could identify boys versus girls, I went the extra mile, coloring them all black and adding the proper genitalia. For as long as can I remember, I have been called "unique". I have never understood the assessment, but I think it stems from my refusal to be hemmed in by boundaries that would stunt me. So, I live life with a mix of realism and idealism. And, that balancing act means I am responsible, cautious, conservative, and, at the same time, impetuous, daring, bold, and silly. In fact, the best description I have heard so far is from my 83-year old grandmother who calls me her "Breath of Fresh Air; the Contradiction That Makes Sense". But, I'll leave the conclusion up to you. In the meantime, while you are busy trying to size-me-up, go grab your favorite ratty jeans and your tux; I feel like having drinks at the local dive bar, roaming the beach, and then hitting the opera, and not necessarily in that order!

Who I Want to Meet:
I like people who can challenge me without trying to control and/or dominate. Ya gotta be grounded enough to openly entertain new ideas. I like people with a positive, realistic outlook on life and view it as a menu of possibilities and potentials. I am in awe of anyone that brings a sense of humor to the table; I love to laugh! I am excited by a anyone with charisma--a spark of mischievousness, tempered with
mature sensibility.
