about sugared confectionary, my
thought was that Marissa is like one
of those sweets which smile at you
through shiny lovely packaging, give
you absolute hell for 30 seconds (sour
or hot, your choice!) but after that
she's all sweet inside. That's the
same stuff. Trust Sinnreich to get in
first.
Ah, well, let's just say she's trouble
and wit in a fun-size package. And -
to me - an archetypical New Yorker, so
I'd like a small(er) version of her to
put in my pocket and compare to ther
New Yorkers I meet. But she'd probably
escape on the grounds that my pocket
isn't really all that cool. So I'll
have to do with hazily-remembered
Woody Allen films for my archetype
standard after all. Bugger.
