What I enjoy doing:
My beloved Seattle Mariners, writing screenplays, MOVIES, MOVIES, MOVIES. If music weren't my occupation my obsession with movies could hardly be counted as a "hobby".
-
Favorite Books:
The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, anything by Chekhov, anything by Kafka, Lolita, A Clockwork Orange, books 3-5 of the Harry Potter series (didn't care for 1, 2 or 6)
-
Favorite Movies:
Intolerance, Closer, Dr. Strangelove, 2001, Blade Runner, His Girl Friday, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Rushmore, Lost in Translation, Fearless, Solaris, Traffic, High Noon, The Godfather and all Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. The greatest moment in any movie is in Airplane! when all the reporters run out and knock over the phone booths. R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet is probably the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life.
-
Favorite Music:
Mahler, Bach, Berlioz, Boulez, Adams, Bruckner, Lully, Liszt, any Baroque Music played on period instruments, anything jazz (especially Coltrane, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Hard Bop), The Beatles, The Ruttles, Keane, Radiohead, Beck, Nelly, R. Kelly whenever he's singing about what's inside closets.

About Me:
"The better part of one's life consists of his friendships."
- Abraham Lincoln
I'm a firm believer in the importance of friendships. I think that simple respect for human relationships could cure all the evils of the world: war, hate, the Bush administration, and everything that contributes to those. When I'm not attempting to be an incompetent philosopher I sometimes find time to play my bass and work on film scripts (I pluck strings for a living, but I'd rather be talking to actors about "motivation").
The most important thing to know about me is that I believe Jimmy Fallon is the most evil human being on the face of the planet. It's somehow not surprising that Saturday Night Live has gone downhill along with American values in the last five years. I also don't believe it's coincidental that Jimmy and Osama bin Laden have "conveniently" never been seen together. It's time to end the charade.
As a loyal Mariners fan I absolutely HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the &$@*ing New York Yankees!!
I once got a haircut from a man who had just learned his teenage daughter had been impregnated by a drug dealer. It was the longest ten minutes of my life.
I think it's important for people to know that the letters in H. Ross Perot can be rearranged to spell "Short Poser".

glory that is Stevo? Stephen is smart,
funny, and one hell of a
conversationalist. And although I don't
know much about classical music, I also
know for a certainty that he is
tremendously talented. Join him in his
epic search for the best margarita in
Chicago. You'll have a good time.
Stephen is an Ok-USA dude. Being his
father's, brother's , uncle's cousin's
former roommate, I confirm that mostly
everything on his profile is accurate.
Especially the part of loving the
Simpsons. This guy can recite every
episode in detail. Hey did you ever get
your dvd gift? i forgot all about that.
I am dissapointed to see though that
Airplane! is NOT listed as one of your
favorite movies. For shame, for shame.
