I'm stuck in the past with my love of young adult literature: Johnny Tremain, Dark Materials triology, Lord Jim, Invisible Man (not y/a, but i read it in high school), the Secret Garden, stuff by Lloyd Alexander.

She knows humor. And, like her brother, she can occasionaly appeal to profanities or fart-oriented jokes. But when it comes to her, I think that I'm getting it wrong because they don't fit her sexy-voiced, shabby-vamp, 30s-moviestar persona. Yet, she can handle eschatological verbiage with the same grandeur and elegance with which she carries those sofisticate nails and haircuts.
Celia either deceives me quite well, or she is as versatile as she is fun, funny, good listener, honest, witty, real, intelligent, humble, good to the bone, and smarty pantsy --- and I haven't found any evidence against this.
