What I enjoy doing:
Obsessively re-reading Kurt Vonnegut books and making my music. Mix GODFLESH, Pink Floyd's "Obscured By Clouds" soundtrack and My Bloody Valentine, then add more feedback and you'll get close. Lusting after a Bajaj Chetak scooter.

About Me:
I am a thirty year old failed rock star who finally
wants to be a MUSICIAN.
I am married to a wonderful woman named Nellie who
puts up with my bullshit.
I am usually pretty low, but am positive enough to
laugh.
I like to get lower with the aid of The Leaf and make
up music that I will just forget (even though I record
everything now... check out the photos for a look
inside 'Weiss Engel Label' world-headquarters/studio/desk).
I want DENSITY in everything. Life has too many empty
spaces.
My friends have always been my greatest asset. Thanx
to anyone back in Charlotte who ever turned me onto a band
that I wouldn't have known about because I had long hair,
no tattoos (why put racing stripes on a pig?) and no
piercings (again, racing stripes on a pig...).It's nice to
be included.
And how macho am I? I manage a Claire's. That's
right. A Claire's. You need barettes or a Care Bear or
your two week old childs ear pierced? I am your man. Naw,
fuck that. I am THE man. The ear piercing-hairbraiding-
gravelly voiced-old lady scaring-scooter riding man. I ride
a Yamaha Vino Scooter. Not even because I am a drunk ( I
am not, don't worry those who know me), like
most of my fellow scooterists, but because they are cooler
than a fan. Why not a Vespa? One word: Fiat. Drive one
and you'll understand why you never hear the words "Fine
Italian engineering".

Who I Want to Meet:
People who get my music, cuz sometimes I sure don't.
People I worked with at Tremont Music Hall, or hung with at
Park Elevator or Rehearsalot. Also fans of and members of
my old band Black Plastic. Sorry for anyone whose feelings
I've tromped on over the years, but I'm feeling much better
now. I am a Yahoo Instant Messenger user, chainsaw66613 is
my id.

that I met in Charlotte. Had he not
been so cool to me I would not have met
the people that I did. If I had not met
them I would not be doing what I am now
doing. If I wasn't doing what I'm now
doing I would NOT be happy. In terms of
my life as a four dimensional
representation of where I have been,
Chainsaw can be seen as THE pivotal
event that put me on the path to self-
fulfillment and peace. Thanks man. I
remember the screaming tree! I remember
playing that duet at that show at
the "copacabana". Lovely.
roadies for Quiet Riot. I was far too
skinny to "lift heavy objects" so I
toted the microphones and stands, cords,
hypodermics; Chainsaw got the amps.
What a pal.
lane, accuracy with the mid-range
jumper, and footwork that can only be
described as magical. His instincts
close to the hole, ability to handle
the ball, and hustle when running the
floor make him a natural leader. I hear
he's pretty good on a basketball court
as well.
person I ever met who was named after an
industrial supply product) is a helluv
nice guy. We were lucky enough to see
(and participate) in some great shows up
at Tremont during his tenure there--it
seemed like there were two or three
kick-butt shows every week. I look
forward to hearing his latest musical
endeavors. Black Plastic and hacked-up
teddy bears forever linger in my memories!
punk-rock and hard-core and good
looking and great loving and just one
of my favorite people on the whole
danged planet. Team Naked, baby, all
the way!
I hope you are well.....I remember the times
when chainsaw and i would have long
conversations about music and instruments
at the almighty Tremont!!!!Those were the
days. You are right...Harvey Milk are
GREAT!!!! HOLLA AT ME THE NEXT TIME
YOU COME TO TOWN..... WE'LL HANG!
days. This cat can play too. Good luck
with the music!
my favorite people.met him @ tremont
and formed a bond by brawlin and a
sweepin together. my favorite chainsaw
quote was after a nite of workin an all
nite rave, the techno had beat us
down , it was about 7 in the morning
music was still playing, there were
maybe twenty people in the place and we
were just sitin trying to hold on to
our sanity when some hopped up raver
busted out in dance like it was
footloose. chainsaw leans over and
says "hey nate one of them still
dancin".thats it, if you know him you
know how funny that was. love ya man,
glad your happy. keep on keepin on
this other guy i knew on a weekend trip
to wilmington and south of the border.
we had a blast though. that was forever
ago. chainsaw is such an awesome
person. i haven't met his wife, but
she's one lucky girl!
