About Me:
As a totally wired citizen of the global village, surrounded by some of the finest libraries in the world, I feel as though I have seen a lot - but actually I've lived here in the flatlands of East Central Illinois for my whole life. I did spend six months in California, but who am I kidding? I haven't lived anywhere. I have travelled in Europe and Central America, but I have no idea what life anywhere else is really like. I do know, from travelling, that Americans don't value good, slowly served food, coffee and good conversation, as much as others, say Italians, do. Too much fast food and not enough walking. Oh wait, this is supposed to be about me isn't it?
