A fun tension from "High Fidelity": Is it more important a) what someone is like, or b) what someone DOES like? Ultimately, I think it's (a), but I bet we can find lots in common regarding part deux. I'm a passionate guy with too many interests to handle on my student loan budget. I'm into pop culture, and one of my huge passions is live music. New York City is like a giant playground for me, and like everyone else, love plays, musicals, parks, frisbee, Texas Hold-Em, pool and darts. I love stepping outside of my comfort zone. I'm witty, fun to be around and I've been told I'd make a great guest on Leno or Ellen (preference: David Letterman). I started playing saxophone back in the day because I liked that it had a lot of buttons. Since then, I've learned piano, guitar, and pretend to sing at a good karoake every now and again. I'd love to play sax in James Brown's rhythm section, but until then, grad school will have to suffice. I've been skydiving, scuba diving, but can still find adventure walking home.. My friends say that I'm a connector (have you read "The Tipping Point?") I have many funny "you won't believe what the **** happened to me today" stories, and always look forward to the next. I can make up limericks and raps, and have been known to make up songs about people. And I'm a KILLER mix-cd maker.

Someone who is passionate about something. ANYTHING! Try new things, be adventurous ... I like people that take their work/passions/hobbies seriously but themselves, not so much. Someone who never says, "But I'm not talented!" Someone who is as exciting in person as they seem in their profile!
