That pretty much sums it up, but here are some other facts that completely convey everything important about my personality:

I sit at a desk all day for UCSF getting money for projects that make vaginas, their carriers, and the things that come out of them safer and healthier. Then at night (and sometimes during the day) I get onstage and sometimes on camera. I like the non-desk job better, but it makes the desk job worth it (although reproductive health research is a pretty interesting field, and my grandma thinks I'm a doctor. Sweet.)

I like to run/bike/swim/lift/yoga pretty much every day. Not all of them every day. One of them. Maybe two if I eat a cupcake.

I'm good with plants. I'm also good at Wheel of Fortune.

My first concert ever was M.C. Hammer.

I can sing many Garth Brooks songs by heart.

I am color blind, so I'll never be a pilot. Which is fine, because air travel terrifies me, even though I do it all the time.

I can play several songs on guitar ALMOST all the way through.

I can play many songs on piano the whole way through.

I'm outdoorsy. Within reason.

I like to dance even though I doubt I'm any good at it.

I like sketchy carnival rides that go upside down. I don't get motion sickness.

My first job ever was in junior high school, working on a ranch, and it required driving a tractor.

I grew up riding horses. I miss it. Especially riding on the beach.

I like whiskey and beer.

Hecklers, poets, and professional wrestlers.
