    • Due to the restrictions Friendster places on testimonial length, I am only able to list just a few of the outstanding characteristics that qualifiy Gabby as a good friend/amazing person: she is kind, supportive, encouraging, and oh that smile! Not to mention, she notifies me instantly whenever she encounters Charles Peltz. Oh, and she totally got me a Bon Jovi pillow case which is just the icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned.

    • I remember this one time, at band camp, when a bee flew into Gabby's bottle of Coke. Most people would get supremely irritated at this, but Gabby's full concern was for the poor bee. When he turned up drowned she was nearly in tears, and I found this concern for all living things very touching indeed. If everyone were like Gabby, the world would be a much nicer place indeed.
      I should also mention that her solo in the Berg Lyric Suite was one of the most moving things I've ever heard.
      In short, even though I've only spent three weeks hanging out with Gabby, it's obvious that her personality and musicianship make her a very special person indeed.
      Oh yeah, we've also trudged through flood-waters together, and that's something that can create a lifelong bond between people. Just ask anyone that was in Switzerland last August! (or New Orleans, but that's too depressing to think about)

    • GABBY ROCKS. She has literally saved my butt on numerous occasions by saving me from myself! She shows up in the rain and the snow and all other horrific weather events with Brad Pitt movies and ice cream, always with a smile and always with great love of life and people. I have learned to have greater compassion towards others from her, and I envy and learn from her tremendous capacity for forgiveness. She remains one of my staunchest allies and truest friends and one day, I hope she teaches me how to pronounce things with a Georgia accent!! Gabby is just a gift for all of us, and I only hope I haven't corrupted her too much!! xoxo

    • as my ancient soul friend, i'm quite pleased to say that we are friends today :)
      she's more than what you see, like a velvet hard cover of good book. not only is her outside person stunning, but to see and know her pages within is even more astonishing. they capture you with so much interest, and suprise you when you least expect it.
      of course that isn't a good enough analogy to describe her. the point is that she's one of my dearest, most trusted friends and i can't imagine life any other way!

    • Every day I spend with Gabby, I find out something new and unexpected about her. There's this fun, thoughtful, silly, sweet, unselfish, accommodating exterior that is 100% true, but then there's the Gabby that not everyone has the privilege of seeing. She is such an intense and complicated person in only the best possible senses of the words... there's a reason her violin playing has so much depth and meaning, and it's that there's a whole lot going on beneath her hottie exterior. (By the way, a bum told her the other day that she has Tina Turner legs. She won't believe me when I tell her it's true.) I didn't mean for this to get silly, but it's exactly what Gabby means to me--I get all teary because I love her so much, and then she'll just make me so damn happy that I start giggling! YAY GABBY!
