maid of honor!!
tale from childhood. When we were
little and living in Greece, Erin was
about 1 with a huge head of curly
blonde hair, and I was three, and more
reserved. Out we went one day, her in a
little blue coat, and me in a dress of
some sort, led by our father on a walk
down the Thessalonikian boulevard. On
our walk we ran into an ornery old man
with a big dog. Erin ran up to the dog
and threw herself into him while I hid
behind my dad. "You see?!" said the
Greek, "the boy, the boy, he is brave.
But the girl...she hides." Well, we had
the trump card to his sexism, which was
that the chubby toddler in the blue
coat was actually a little woman, but
he was right about one thing: Erin is a
sight braver than me and always has
been. So if you ever need someone to
buy you cigarettes when you're under
age, call the pizza guy, or do any
other thing that may or may not terrify
you,
I've ever met.
I like to call her, Ern or E. She's an
awesome person with an outlook on life
which always inspired me. Thanks to
Erin I'm willing to try anything and
everything at least once. You Rock
Chica!
has excellent taste in food. I like to
think of her as skinny Paul Prudhomme.
(She eats almost as much as he does)
Erin has completed at least one
marathon and is planning on completing
many more. That's pretty cool.
