About Me:
I have been getting a lot of "all-grown up" testimonals. Although I am sure it is meant in a very geniuine and heart-felt way, I would like to request that you all shut the hell up. I am not any more grown up than any of you just because I got married and had a baby. I have probably always been slightly more advanced than you on certain levels but following the socially-accepted path in life does not, on its own, qualify me for the title of "Adult", that you all seem to be throwing around so loosely.
That being said, I'm the mother of an awesome little boy, named Riley, but
before that I had my own identity. I'm into really corny
stuff like Old Country Buffet (a.k.a. HomeTown Buffet) and Britany Spears. I'm a fan of creating good times out of lame situations, drinking massive amounts of alcohol, smoking, complaining and your general tom-foolery. I loved exploring Portland and the characters who inhabit it and now I will enjoy exploring Chicago. I didn't know this, but history proves it, that I love moving across the country on a complete whim. I am a complete Friendster addict. My two favorite things about Friendster, are reconnecting with people I haven't seen in years and rediscovering how small our world is. Sometimes
I need to know we are all still connected, because I'm so geographically far from friends and family (well not so far any more). Find out more at: http://bowlinghottie.blogspot.com/ (actually being updated, now and then, now that I am in Chicago) and view over 3,000 photos at http://wadeandeva.com/gallery/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/bowlinghottie/ New pictures uploaded all the time!

Who I Want to Meet:
Fun people, who aren't snobby or boring. Mom's, bowlers and people
in Portland or Chicago are always fun to meet! I also always love reconnecting with people from the past.

HOld me.
hard to belive it's only been 10 years.
grats on the spawnling, and the move.
me stories that made me laugh
whenever I saw her. Time with Eva
was always fun no matter what we
were doing because Eva is a fun kind of
person. I took her teasing as a
compliment. Now Eva lives far away
and I never ever see her. That is sad
but she seems happy and so I am happy
for her.
kid she was!
have. I will never forget the first time I
flew on a plane all by myself was when I
was about 12 years old. I flew from NC
to Ann Arbor to visit Eva, Andrew, Dan,
and Miles. That will always be one of my
most memorable vacations. We had so
much fun. I thought their house was
sooooo cool, as well as the town - so
different from NC.
About 4+ years ago, Eva came to my
house in NC for our family Thanksgiving
dinner. It was SO great to see her again.
I was so excited a couple years later to
find out that she was going to be a
mom. The first new mom in our family
since me! We both have boys - possibly
turning the tables on our mostly girl
family......
Eva will always be one of my favorite
cousins. It is sad she is so far away - I
think we would have a lot of fun together.
Love and miss ya girl!
if a dad can say this, a very cool
chick. She is smart too, but unlike
some people, doesn't make a big thing
about it. She is a great mom and a
computer whiz (not a geek, though). And
yeah, she bowls pretty well too.
wedding.....it was a very nice ceremony.
She seems like an awesome person and a
wonderful mommy......and Riley is a
great kid too :) I truly look forward
to getting to know her much better :)
beautiful adolescent hairstyle that was
Eva's, I'd like to tell a quick story.
Once upon a time, I told my mother that
I wanted my hair cut like Eva's. My mom
hadn't seen Eva in an awfully long time
and remembered her having regular old
straight long hair. She told me it
wouldn't work on me because my hair was
too short -- referring to regular old
staight long hair. But I wasn't talking
about elementary school Eva hair, I was
talking about middle school Eva hair. I
got the haircut, my mom was shocked and
upset and I continued shaving my hair
underneath until I was finally convinced
that it was no longer fashionable about
3 months ago. So there.
took a long look at my life and bought a
six pack." 10 years ago on one of our
fabulous trips to Isle Royale, Eva
bought me that button. Lots of good
memories. What a shame that Eva moved
away before either of us really grew up.
But who am I to complain about such
things? Eva is a wonderful, caring,
beautiful human being and a great
listener. She deserves all the hapiness
in the world.
