& I both share a love of dressing up as
characters from somewhat obscure movies
for Halloween...and you'll never see a more
authentic Hunter S. Thompson!
I had the grand opportunity to live
with Michael in San Francisco with
my cat, Ally Sheedy. It was great!
Michael worked at "home" (a
run-down, cramped, two bedroom
apartment in the middle of the block
off Columbus...very little sunlight...)
and I went out to work every morning,
leaving Michael with my cat.
Eventually, I would come home to
find Michael standing in the middle of
the "hallway", fully clad in his
pajamas, staring at the wall. When
he snapped out of his trance, all he
could talk about was Sheedy and
how he taught her a new trick that
day. I started to get worried and had
a private pep talk with Ally Sheedy in
my bedroom.
michael and his doppelganger (the violet
chipmunk) have sailed the seas searching
for the keys to countless cities, the
answers from the sirens, and the riddles
of pirates long passed. all is
irrelevant without the wisdom of the
purple squirrel, who wears many hats.
the purple squirrel dabbles in art,
commerce (even e-commerce!), and any nut
he can get his paws on. he only fears
the jolly green giant, but hell, who
doesn't?
