      • Ben likes robots. And not the evil,
        destroy-your-soul robots. Little
        robots, like in "*batteries not
included", with Hume Cronyn and Jessica
Tandy. Both of whom have died. Which is
sad. But not as sad as when a little
kid drops his ice cream cone on the
sidewalk and he starts crying but no
one stops to help him and you just sit
there and think, "man, that is so sad."
That happened to me once, except Ben
was there and he just laughed at me.
        Also, it happened last week.

      • I first met Ben while living in the
        Berkshires in Massachusetts. He was
the gangly guy who would steal into the
studio and work all night. It took a
little while to get to know him at
first; he was unobtrusive and kept to
himself. But Ben has slowly revealed
himself to be a real sweetheart. He's
great to talk to about all sorts of
        things: geek things, friendship type
things, and other cool stuff. Ben is a
real serendipity. I'm glad I've had
the opportunity to get to know him.
You will too, if you are willing to
        make the effort.

      • Ben, Ben...where do I start with this
        remarkable human being. Well, like
Brooks, I have been friends with Ben
for almost fifteen years, and in that
time I cannot possibly think of one
memory that stands out. There have
        been so many countless great
        experiences, ups and downs, sleepovers,
car trips, video game nights, and movie
bashings that only scratch the surface
of the memories I have had with Ben. I
am always amazed at how he manages to
        be brilliant, thoughtful, kind,
        friendly, selfless, (insert another
great quality here), and of course,
motivated. I have been blessed to
watch him grow up into a true man's
man. And what's more, despite our time
spent away from each other for extended
periods of time, he has managed to stay
a great friend. I love him like the
brother I wish I had, and my parents
love him like the son they never had.
Cheers, Ben. You are always in our
        hearts.

      • Ben always has random, interesting
insights on life. He's a master surface
renderer, and I want his job...or maybe
just his company's free coffee. And
he's grown out of his falling down
stage, which is good for his personal
        safety, I think.

      • Ben is one of my favorite people in
the world. I barely have any concious
memories of life without knowing Ben
some way or another. He is someone I
will always be able to trust, and to
        me, thats more important than
anything. I love the guy, and hope to
be close to him for the rest of my
        life.

      • Ben is great, simple as that. He would
give you the shirt off his back...just
dont ask him to order you a pizza. One
of the sweetest people I've ever met.
        And he gains intelligence through
        osmosis!
