興趣愛好:
Laughing, crying, learning a little about love and a lot about life, subscribing to The Ziggy School of Philosophy and Personal Betterment.
-
最喜歡的書:
Kurt Vonnegut, Gregory MaGuire, Edward Gorey, Roald Dahl, Tolkien, Geek Love, Confederacy of Dunces, Miss Manners' Guide to Etiquette, The Book of Knowledge... nerdy Greek classics. If my cat wrote a memoir, I bet it would be on this list, too. I also like reading the backs of romance novels. (Purely for research.)

最喜歡的電影:
Bruce Campbell offerings. Bottle Rocket, Donnie Darko, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Re-Animator, Project Grizzly, Pride & Prejudice, Tenebre, Halloween, Lord of the Rings, Psycho, Rushmore, Blowup, Peeping Tom, Lawn Dogs and I will admit to watching Notting Hill every effing time it's on TV. Ditto for Patriot Games. And did I mention Dirty Dancing? Because dancing. Dirtily. Awesome.

最喜歡的音樂:
Kinks, Yardbirds, Supremes, Nouvelle Vague, Otis Redding, Tilly and the Wall, Rilo Kiley, Dolly Parton, Man Man, Johnny Horton, Henry Mancini, Les Savy Fav, The Maynards, Beach Boys, Coralie Clement, Doris Day, Mitch & the Motorhomes, misc. French pop and of course, J.T. & Brits. I can also listen to Brenton Woods' "Oogum Boogum Song" on repeat for extended periods of time. Whether that's an impressive fact or a dire warning is up to you. What's not my favourite? Your band, probably.

最喜歡的電視節目:
Teen-Angst TV like Freaks & Geeks, My So-Called Life and The Creek. The Steve Trevor, Jr. episodes of Wonder Woman, Alias, Murder She Wrote, Jem & the Holograms, Twin Peaks, America's Next Top Model, Bargain Hunt, the Sharpe series, and the dearly departed Paradise Hotel, Rockstar: INXS and Taradise. Basically anything that seems like it was produced by Satan. Oh, and things with Shaun Cassidy. I'd like to say 90210, but I can't figure out reasonable ways to skip off work at 4pm to go home and watch it.

And not in a creepy way.
Lots of laughs and excellent taste in just about everything.
I'm sure we'll go for coffee when I come home.
characters remaining. I cannot express
how I feel right now in that limited
space. I will be in Hali this month.
maybe I'll pop by the station and harrass
you guys.
would buy Melissa her own TV and radio
stations and also her own internationally
distributed magazine (glossy pages, full
colour, etc.). She would have total control
of the content, and in exchange, the world
would have access to her razor sharp wit,
her stomache-ache inducing sense of
humour, and awesome style.
It would be an investment I could feel
proud of, like world peace or something,
(only with more of a party atmosphere).
Melissa champagne. She saw to it that
business was good, but really the
pleasure was all mine.
witty and always has a way of
describing things that are dead on. She
is the person you want in your corner
on any project. I wish to dress with
her style just once in my lifetime.
here? Who knew? Well, Melissa of
course. If by Melissa, I mean me. Oh,
and Melissa. Again, what?
Melissa rules. And by that, I mean
this one. And I mean me too.
This is too confusing. I go now.
that you always want to be friends with
but do not think you are smart, funny
or interesting enough. Being friends
with Melissa makes me think that I
might be those things. Or she might
just feel bad for me so she lets me be
her friend. Its good either way. I wish
to be like her. Who wouldn't want that
hair? And she put LOTR in her reading
section which makes her a supremely
better person and me a poseur.
Coast rock star gossip. Hearing about all of
the Halifax high-jinks made my first couple of
years at college a bit more bearable. Not to
mention she's smart as a whip and sharp as a
tack. And with that I'm out of cliches. Suffice
to say, now that Melissa has conquered the
Pop Explosion, I have no doubt that she will
someday rule the world.
this would be my page, dammit. Which is
kinda scary, but in a good way. It's
nice to know there's somone out there
who I am likely incapable of freaking
out. I may even lend her a movie
someday...
in a red barn on PEI. They say that
kind of thing builds character, but I
think we ended up relating more to
the animals than the people. Melissa
always has a knack for spinning
sardonic pop culture commentary
and can spot a cute indie rock boy at
100 yards. We also were both
schooled in Dartmouth...now THAT
builds character ;)
