About Me:
I'm going to hunt down and kill the countless number of people who told me that law school gets easier after the first year - BASTARDS! I love
hunting for things, whether it be records, clothes, or law
cases on LexisNexis (I'm probably about the only person who
thought our legal research class was "fun"). I met my lovely
husband Glen while Living in England for a year (England =
good place to visit, bad place to live) and brought that
loud Brit over to the states with me. I like taking
pictures and wish I had more time to paint. I'm still spinning the 60's as often as possible. I love traveling with friends. I love my study
group.
-
Who I Want to Meet:
People who know the difference between possessive and
plural nouns and add apostrophes appropriately. Punctual
people. People who understand that "good" is an adjective
and "well" is an adverb. People who put the cap back on
the toothpaste. People who refuse to succumb to the
demands of political correctness.

Rena has made me a better woman.
it's best to just recount an anecdote.
Around the time we were becoming
friends, Rena and I and several other
servants of Lady Justice went out for
dinner. As we crossed the street, I
decided to run up ahead of the group.
Well, I tripped and fell. My pants
ripped open and my knees were bleeding.
I think I may have been crying a
little, too. Rena simply walked up
beside me and said, "Haste leads to
waste, Doctor Stupid. As she left me
on the street in pain and confusion,
Rena also slapped the back of my head,
perhaps to add insult to injury or
maybe it was an injury added to the
insult. At any rate, she really taught
me a good lesson. From then on, I have
always practiced care exceeding that
which would be practiced by the
reasonable and prudent person. Thanks
to Rena for her weadily awailable wise
words of wisdom and wiseness.
dancing with, argue with again, break your diet
with, then talk about music with... she's cool and
hip and it really tough to be both those things in
l.a. and even harder to be both in law school. i
would actually not be surprised if she someday
matched me a match in her fiddler-on-the-roof
yenta-ish way - if anyone could do it, rena can. if i
drew comic books, i would make one with rena as
the superhero d.a. who prosecutes the evil and
protects the innocent - and there would be no
black suit, but she'd have a pretty cape and
awesome knee-high boots...
