      • About Me:

Less see... life has been pretty exciting lately. I've been
working on my business The Jewelry Workshop heavy and hard
since the end of 2003. Things are begining to pick up as I
write this (9/19/2003). I've been scheduling private
beading lessons like mad and continue to schedule and teach
through Park & Recreation programs and bead stores in the
Bay Area. One of my best freinds, Jen, and I are talking
about getting me to teach in her new home state of HI in
January. It is an amazing thing to me what I do, beads.
Wow, who would have thunk it? I've worked for years as an
admin sort in offices and only dreamed of what I'm doing
now. I'm also back in school working towards a degree in
art. For the time being I'm working towards getting the UC
art requirements out of the way. This semester I'm taking
Photo, Drawing & Composition, and Art History of China,
Japan, & Korea. Something that is now on the side that I
thought for a while was going to be my main source of
income is my jazz singing. I've come to the realization
that the listening fast-food world at large percieves me
asthough there were a million others who can do just as
well. So, I'm letting my jazz singing be self-maintaining.
That means I'm not calling the booking agents everyday to
pimp out a gig anymore. Lately it has been working out well
as I've just been getting calls every so often to do pull 1-
night of music or act as a side-man(-woman) on a gig set up
by someone else. Here are the lyrics to one of my favorite
songs of all time by the 1st hippie, Eden Ahbez: There was
a boy, A very strange enchanted boy
They say he wandered, Very far, very far
        Over land and sea
A little shy, And sad of eye
        But Very wise was he
        And, then one day
One magic day he came my way
And as we spoke of Many things
Fools and kings This he said to me
The greatest thing, you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return.

      • Who I Want to Meet:

I'm mainly interested in meeting people interested in jazz
and beaded jewelry who are interested in people interested
in jazz and beaded jewelry. :) I don't really care, just be
my definition of cool! I'm repleatly in love with my love
of 12 years, so no playboys please. :)
