      • So, tell me. What was it like when you slid your feet into those beautiful loafers? An animal (or two) gave its life just for you. See, nature loves us back. Just wait until you get your hands on some baby seal mittens

      • No one possesses the articulate plethora of cologned scents for any occasion like Tim. His pianistry possesses the same wide palette. He lives on salad dressing wraps, samosas, and bourbons, and can play the Archduke from his deathbed if necessary. And most of all, he is a worthy badminton adversary.

      • the first time i saw tim was the cafeteria at bucknell and we (the two i was eating jello with from the salad bar) said, lets invite him to play vollyball, lets invite him to go to the ice cream shop, lets invite him to watch whatever reality tv show was in loop that summer. tim and i sat on the hillside. then the people who were eating jello all joined us and tim played the piano in the basement. i didn't ever feel music do that before and haven't since. it made me want to write poems and hold my breath underwater. it was a great summer, the summer that tim was in the same cafeteria.

      • I love to watch him play the piano. Love. I close my eyes, because the playing is gorgeous--but when I open them, I fully enjoy the gorgeousness of watching this one play. Also: his office is by far the best decorated (and most fragrant) in Jennings.

      • tim used to be my piano teacher, and he
was forgiving and kind even though i
never could figure out rhythm or "let go
of my arms." once, i heard him tell a
prospective student that she could not
come up and listen in on our lesson
because i was really shy and stuff and
he didn't want to make me
uncomfortable. that is when i decided i
        really liked tim.

tim writes good letters, and i'm sad i
never really got to see him play the piano
before i left. he will have to give many
        concerts in minneapolis someday, after
        he's famous.

      • So Tim- hows about some whiskey
sound right now? Next time we run into
each other, I'll be sure to be stocked up
        on the necessities

      • Tim helped me practice
        Stravinsky's "Five Easy Pieces" -even
though we couldn't figure out how it was
meant to sound. We both used to look
up what happened on our birthdays in
the Andy Warhol Diaries. And the
whisky thing? Top shelf! I look forward
to getting sloshed with the piano faculty
        again someday soon.
