What I enjoy doing:
I love traveling...scrap-booking owns my soul...writing is a getaway...dancing is an absolute favorite...hanging out with friends is always fun...and my family is my life. Other than that, I love to eat chocolate, pretend I’m Betty Crocker, take naps whenever I get bored, reminisce about the past, daze out at random times, stress out about absolutely nothing, wake up early and get ready before anyone else, pick my hair, offer advice when I can, avoid drama, play Taboo, laugh a lot, be the perfectionist, sport sweat pants and t-shirts, give off the ghetto image, chew on toothpicks, read just about anything, spoil everyone I love, watch sports, make fun of Bush, sing in the shower, talk to myself, give massages, bust out my Guju all over the place, make detailed schedules and actually follow them, watch the sun set and moon rise, and most of all, try to make the best of every moment.

About Me:
Aside for a few days here and there (everyone has their moments), people usually see me as "shy shorty," but that's not always true. I can be social too, so I definitely have an interest for meeting new people. Working with kids--whether they're 5 or 15--has been my passion since day one...that's why I'm a teacher =)
My idea of a good day would be: wake up on the right side of the bed...do your usual basics (whatever that might be)...go out and do something extraordinary (jump off a cliff, swim with the dolphins, adopt a monkey, or something as simple as talking to a friend)...come home and write about it...say a quick little prayer...and for the best part: MARINATE!
Chicago is the best city in the world, but if I were to move anywhere else, it would have to be on the East Coast!

I've known Aekta for 5 years now. She is one of the most caring, genuine, influential, and sweetest woman I have ever met. Her friendship is something I will ALWAYS cherish. If there was ever a regret I had, it was why couldn't I have a heart like hers; she honestly has a heart of gold!! Even though I can't be the person she is, I am grateful to have her in my life. For the people that don't know her or aren't friends with her....you guys are missing out on an exceptional person.
I met Aekta at UIC our freshman year and from that day forward we became the best of friends. I could honestly say she has helped me grow into a better and stronger person.
I love you as if you were my own sister!! Don't ever change and know that you deserve the world's happiness.
