About Me:
(My name is Matt, but I had to disguise my profile to elude my curious/prying teen patients...)
Just moving back to SF from the East Coast after being away from home for almost 10 years. Sad to be leaving my friends out East, but excited to be coming back to old ones (and maybe some new ones?).
I work with kids and teenagers, so I definitely know how to laugh and it's hard to freak me out. I'm stoked that i found a career I love. Sometimes I can't turn it off though, but I'm working on that.
Pleasantly neurotic in a way that somehow people other than my mother find endearing and/or entertaining.
Snarky, but with good intentions.
Notables: I make a tastey chicken diablo, I have an impeccable sense of direction (and people), I'm a wicked good teller of stories, I can pack a tidy trunk for roadtrips, I talk in my sleep sometimes, and I'm fun yet responsible in a "you could trust me with your kid/dog/houseplants" kind of way.
Kid tested, Mother approved.
Much easier to get to know in person.
Try me.

i've been attempting to create in dramatic fashion what would have been our cross country trip with students from my LSAT classes. but they read the parts with such flatfooted disdain! don't see the point. and i am beginning to lose patience. must there be a point?
in contrast to their piss-poor dramatic (re)enactments, we, my friend, were never flatfooted. booted, perhaps, but only to aid in arch development.
do people wear boots in san francisco, my students will ask, dreamily thinking of a different life, very unlike their own here. they do, i say, remembering. they do wear boots...
