to college... which is to say, she's
seen just about all the stupidity from
me than any one person should ever have
to deal with. just about every female-
attracted person i know has/had a crush
on lauren. and yet, despite not having
seen one another in about two years and
my never replying to her emails, she
still writes me from time to time.
that says something about a person...
i'm not exactly sure what, but it says
something. to this day, i love telling
the story about how i was walking
through paris in montmartre, towards
sacre couer when we bumped into one
another... actually, she jumped on my
back and i immediately mistook her for
an overly clumsy parisian pick-pocket.
destiny? perhaps. sometimes the stars
just line up for certain people.

blessed my life for many moons and I
thank God for bringing her to me. Her
family is awesome and have treated me
with more kindness than any person
deserves. It's been about 17 long years
of toil and triumph and somehow,
someway we haven't had too many
disagreements. Spending days away from
home being travelling hobos together in
the lovely city of Chicago this last
year has brought us closer than we've
been in years. For some reason I can be
apart from this girl for MONTHS and we
always come back to being the same old
stupid, laughing, up for anything
girls. I don't think I could live that
life with anyone else. Lauren you are
so easy to get along with and you've
brought so many bright moments to my
already sunny life. Thank you! I love
you and can't wait to rock asia with
you...they better look out for the
macaques. WILD!
