I think about Dan a lot more than I
actually spend time with him. I was
wondering why that was, and now I
realize: it's because he's one of the
few people in the world who provokes and
promotes thought. Things he's said over
the years have taken a while to sink in,
and the more I contemplate them, the
more I learn. I do have a much deeper
appreciation for that now.
