About Me:
We love Cigars. Be it a just a passing fancy, an occasional smoke for special moments, a hobby, or a true passion, we are all united by burning the good 'ol Leaf.
Nothing relaxes you better than a having good cigar and a drink at hand. Even bad days can look good when viewed through the blue haze of a fine smoke.
Cigars are meant to be enjoyed and savored. There is a big difference between needing a cigarette and wanting a cigar. Smoking a cigar is never rushed. You make time for it, you relax with it. A cigar smoke is never inhaled. Instead, you take a deep draw and swirl the flavorful, aromatic smoke around your mouth, then gently let the smoke drift out. Ahh, nice isn't it?
Round it up with your favorite wine, whiskey, brandy, beer, cognac, port, coffee, rootbeer or what-have-you, and you've got a combination that's hard to beat. Got the life!

A brief Cigar 101:
3 Basic sizes:
Short and fat : Robusto (5 inches by 50-ring on average)
Long and thin : Corona (5 1/2 x 44)
Extra long and fat : Churchill (7 x 48)
The other sizes are basically just derivations from these 3.
Ring Gauge - refers to a cigar's thickness, diameter or girth. It is expressed in 64ths of an inch. Ex: a 32-ring cigar measures half an inch in diameter. A 44-ring is somewhere around 3/4ths of an inch. A 64-ring is exactly 1 inch in diameter.
Parts of a cigar:
Filler - the innermost bunched leaves of a cigar. Makes up about 75% of the whole cigar.
Binder - leaf used to wrap around the filler to hold it together.
Wrapper - a large, beautiful and flawless leaf used to wrap around the binder.
