record store in chicago a few years ago. i
thought to myself, 'dale is gonna shatter
these plate-glass windows, nuff said.' then
he showed up with one of those cheapo
remo stackable drumsets, where everything
fits inside the bass drum, you know?... and i
was like... he's a genius.
give up on this melvins nonsense? i
mean look at that guy buzz's hair,
ridiculous. no moustaches, what the
fuck? we could be a match made in
heaven, just imagine crover n oates,
or oates n crover, or even dale n
oates, i'm open. when you come
down out of your little "fantasy" world
get in touch and we'll make some
REAL music. OK?
the big Plainfield tour of 93, even sat
in on a jam with them. Is he a
member of the NRA? I had a youthful
dream that I would have bricks of
cash/hash and pay Dale, Buzz (on
bass), Trey Spruance and
Buckethead to play my party, they
would play a set of Slayer covers and
call themselves WAR ENSEMBLE.
Then about 10 years later, this stupid
band Fantomas came around and
spoiled the whole idea. I guess
when you think about things too
heavily, some kind of
ill-manifestation occurs. Dale, why
didn't you join the Fucking Champs?
My favorite band is dead now! Mac,
Valentine and Ronnie from Get
Hustle send their love. So do I.

buzz had to fly home and it was just
joe and dale and they both sang and
they took a lot of requests and it was
awesome. those were the days... the
hardback shows... dale in his tighty
whiteys and rubber gloves, looking
like he was about to collapse any
second. mind altering drumming!!!
band (Old Cooter). He played real good like,
but it was a might loud and he refused to
play Cooter's version of "Teen Spirit" the
way Cooter told him to. Cooter told him to
fuck off. Cooter can be a prick sometimes
Dale should join Old Cooter.
