About Me:
Wow, just reading old description (2 years old maybe) and comparing.
-I don't know what happened to the white out that I once carried in my purse.
-I still consider myself good at giving gifts and bad at wrapping them, but I have gradually developed a knack for making gift-type cards, too.
-I still like powertools, in theory, but I havent seen one in some time. I'd imagine I still suck at using a powerdrill.
-I eat less sugar, maybe? maybe more?
-"I have an outstanding memory for numbers." still true:)
-"Im vaguely afraid of heights, boys, and the dark." I'll probably always be working on this one.
-Pool's alright, but I've got better things to do with my time.
-"I hate the cold. I love my family."
yes, yes, though I would like to see some rain right about now.
-"I have a love/hate relationship with pop-culture. And
everything else." I think I was just being dramatic here.
-I consider myself a considerably better driver than in my last self description.
- "I have never been in love." ooh, yeah, that one changed. heh. *blush*
other updates include:
-I can change a tire. I practiced in my driveway.
-I can do 5 pushups in a row, and more if I take small breaks.
-My brother lives with me now, and we have an ice cream maker. We also sometimes play music together.

sister! Which I guess would make me
the luckiest person in the world . . .
she's my little sister but she's way
smarter than me. She's incalculably
cool, uber-intelligent, extrordinarily
kooky and she always puts up with her
crazy big sister!!!!! You better be
nice to her or I'll beat you up!
people i've ever met. possibly even
number one. so smart and funny and
weird and beautiful and open-minded and
always, always thinking. i feel sorry
for people who don't have alice as a
best friends. and that's most people.
sucks for them.
North Carolina. I think we might be
sole mates of some kind. Every time I
see her (even if it's years later), I
feel an instant connection to her.
rarity nowadays. Alice is one of those
rarities -- in the truest sense. A
kind, sweet, fun girl who is always
looking to learn more. You know what
else? She can write a symphony and you
can't. Booyeah! An amazing talent to be
sure.
sorts of musical shit, and she can
cook, and she's got really great hair,
and she's good to talk to about stuff,
y'know?
But, it's been a long time since I've
seen her. For all I know, she went down
with her chopper running a clandestine
aid mission in Rwanda. I'm not sure if
I'm supposed to talk about that.
glamourous and exciting things like
walk to the 7-11, sometimes el pollo
loco. when we lived in our old house i
would sometimes walk in a room to find
her dancing around, cradling a
(terrified?) cat in her arms. hmm.
i'm wondering what sort of a picture
i've painted here. regardless, it
probably won't do justice to the
Awesomeness of Alice (which is now the
title for my unauthorized biography of
Alice Wood. Look for it.)
Not the wrapped kind (she's bad at that) but the
musical kind and the cooking kind and a variety of other
kinds. She knows how to appreciate Decadence and
everything it can do for you. If little girls are made of
sugar and spice then Alice is made out of strawberries
and diamonds. It's a good way to be.
