miss your funny, wonderful ways, so

put a certain strains on our relationship.
We both want creative freedom, and we
both want to hold the megaphone at
performances. This almost resulted in
a knock down, drag out fight on the
stage of Rothko two Mondays ago, so
technically I'd say the band is "on
hiatus." We're hoping that our auditions
for dancers this weekend will revitalize
our collective creative energies. Conflict
with Jen presents certain challenges for
me, because she has figured out all my
tricks, and can convince me to
accompany her pretty much anywhere,
even if I don't want to go. I'm worried
now because she keeps telling me that I
should get my ears pierced so that I can
be glamorous, but I think that seems a
little, you know, gay. Jen, I don't want to
let artistic differences stand in our way,
and I think I need to let go and trust that
our note for note art punk recreation of
The Sound of Music is going to be the
hit we know it can be.

you get on the side of a slice of cake: she is
sweet, fun, and you always wish there were
more of her to go around. Oh, except unlike
whipped cream, Jen is pretty darn smart.
