      • Oh Logan Square, you're an enigma
sometimes. Every other week, I think
you really are just the slutty younger
sister of Wicker Park: beautiful, kind of
boring and every middle aged man gets
drunk in your tap rooms and falls all over
you every Saturday night. Then I think
about Small Bar, Lula, the Two-Way
        Lounge, the monument, and your
hipsters coming out from the woodwork.
You may be a work in progress, and you
may need a few more bars, but you're
        my work in progress.

      • I am so happy to be back within your
        confines. There is not another
        Chicago neighborhood that is prettier
in the summertime. With the Bob Inn,
Fireside Bowl, Lula Cafe, Cozy Corner,
El Nandu, and Foremost within walking
distance I never want to leave.

      • I know I can always be found in Logan
Square, especially at Foremost, but I
have never really felt at home here. I
mean, I don't have any facial piercings
        or tattoo's and I don't live in a studio
appartment that my parents pay for while
I try to sell my paintings and
sculptures ever since I dropped out of
Columbia. But, I have always felt at
home in Wicker Park, and since Logan
Square is like Wicker Parks slutty
younger sister, I think we can be
        friendsters.

      • I can't believe I didn't write a
        testimonial before. Logan is my
sista's hood, pretty much. I think
it's conjoined to twin humboldt pzark.
It never looks the same from week to
week, but ages like a fine wine. I've
        memories amongst their boulevards.

      • Logan Square is the grandest! Gigantic,
beautiful homes that come to us at a low
        cost. Great restaurants (El Cid),
scenic walks and bike rides. You allow
me to be as loud as I want when I bang
away @ my music into the wee hours!!!!

      • i pay a teeny, tiny little amount of rent
for a gigantic apartment and art
        studio...awesome mexican food right
outside my front door...the el is a half
block away, and i'm directly between
        three major bus routes...quenchers
        is within stumbling distance...pretty
streets, good for long walks when it's
not colder than a witch's tit

      • About Me:

I'm located west from the Kennedy Expy to Kimball Av and
north from Fullerton to Diversey Avs. I have a grand
intersection set around an enormous marble column. It's one
        of the best in Chicago.

I'm well cared for and appealing, and a true melting pot.
I'm home to a diverse population comprised of Latino and
Eastern Europeans, as well as younger kids attracted to
my diversity, not to mention larger apartments and cheaper
        rents.

My namesake was General John A. Logan (1826-1886) who served in
the Civil War, and later in Congress. My Centennial Monument
was built in 1918 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of
Illinois' statehood, it's 100 ft tall.
