About Me:
Work related:
Approximately 10 years work experience in large-scale project/product management and business development in information technology for the financial services and aerospace and defense industries as well as the U.S. public sector. Project/product management experience includes: requirements analysis, business and technical design, project planning and estimation, scope management, client relationship management, project-based financial management, team management, sub-contractor management, vendor management, program management office formation and systems implementation. Business development experience includes pre/post sales support, strategic alliance formation, and contract negotiation.
Personal:
Interests include politics, performing arts, cooking, travel (visited 30+ countries throughout Africa,
North and South America, Asia, and Europe), amateur and
professional basketball, and using technology effectively
to achieve goals.
One friend says I "fiercely defend the honor of my home town, Philadelphia, from all slurs." I do love my hometown; this is true. I especially love those cheesesteaks (prefer Tony Luke's), water ice (Pop's or Rita's Gelati), soft pretzels (from some guy on Roosevelt Blvd), and Tastykake's (butterscotch krimpets are a favorite). Anybody for a Wawa run at 2am?
Also, friends tell me I'm funny when I don't try to be and I'm not funny when I try. Empirical evidence suggests they are right.

Who I Want to Meet:
Work:
People looking for jobs in the financial services industry, strategy and IT consulting, and general management. Also very interested in meeting entrepreneurs and especially anyone with interesting ideas! And certainly friends for friends sake...
Personal:
I love to meet new people and re-connect with old friends!
I'd also be willing to help someone make a new connection
to further along his/her professional goals (e.g., use my
contacts to help someone find a job in the US, especially
NYC or Washington, DC).

Testimonials and Comments for Rob
anyone can know. funny, caring,
intelligent (esp with those regressions in
undergrad!), and a complete optimist!
add much to what he's already written about
himself, except to note that he is the most natural
salesman and client manager I've ever met, as
well as one of my longest-lasting friends.
the mean streets of T.O. - all that hip
hop training in North Philly really
comes in handy, fo' sho.
He's also the only person who can step
up to the line with me in our joint
area of expertise: useless musical
trivia....
