      • Sarah is my good friend from waaaaaay back at Camp Appalachia, where we shared a cabin, tents, hairbrushes, clothes, s'mores sticks, tips on boys, tears in saying goodbye and lots and lots of laughs! I will always remember Sarah as having a swollen ankle, because she seemed to be spraining it every year right around camp time. (Just like I always had a rash on my belly) Sarah with the beautiful smile, great hugger, who always remembers my birthday!!!!!!!!! Sarah the sunny Hatfield cheering on the team....I miss you Sarah!!!

      • I've known Sarah since that crazy summer
when we were both interns in Alaska,
when she was a knitting, camping, baking
and hiking machine, and the rest of us
mortals tried to keep up. I'm always
amazed at all the cool adventures she
gets herself into and am glad we've been
able to stay in touch after all these
        years! When's my next postcard?!?

      • Once I kicked Sarah in the forearm
while she was holding a pad for me in
taekwondo, and caused The Mother Of
All Bruises. I felt so bad about it!
She just smiled and laughed graciously
afterwards and, as far as I know,
never once plotted against me. Sarah
has poise, a steady grace, and the
        strongest forearms in town.

      • Captain Lou equipped me with all the
knowledge I needed to get by in
Singapore...she taught me how to use
chopsticks, offered me a crash course
in Singlish, and gave me a list of all
the good bars and clubs in the Lion
City. Sarah has taught in more
        countries, studied more volcanoes, and
lived in more time zones than anyone I
        know.

      • Sarah is the coolest little shorty i
ever met. The first time we met we
spent the night together - on a flight
to Singapore. Ever since then we been
rocking the globe one food stall at a
time. I hope we can invade some other
exotic lands soon. Or at least be in
        the same time zone soon.
