the 90's: What if God was one of us, just
a stranger on a bus, tryin' to make his
way home...Sometimes when I see
Caroline smoking cigarettes on the
sidewalk in Manhattan on 2nd Ave and
7th (where we go to school), I realize
how lucky I am to know the last of the
nicotine gypsies. That's what she
is...and a damn talented writer as well.
Also, she embodies the goodness of
simple things like Cinnamon Duckies
and Rubber Sticks. Or do I mean
Rubber Duckies and Cinnamon
Sticks?...You'd have to get to know
Caroline before you could ever really
know.
people who can put anyone at ease in
almost any situation. She is the walking
definition of "cool," what with the brilliant
wit, utter lack of pretension, and
infectious joy (even when it's pretend-
joy) . . . she is, simply put, magnificent.
Astonishing, too, if you want to

makes her even more special. she's my
son's godmother and by far my most

properly: Caroline is brilliant;
Caroline is tao; Caroline is
deterritorialized and
deterritorializing; Caroline notices
circles. Caroline is luminous. The words
can't express it quite right, but
basically, it's really pretty cool.

playwright...

C - We used to smoke way too
much pot together...

B - She's one of the coolest people I
know.
