      • Coya left me. She knows I got mad abandonment issues. But to be fair...she always always always tries to take me with her when she goes. I miss Coya...even though we fight sometimes...I know we fight because we love each other. We want the best for each other. And we can see the beauty and gifts in each other that each of us often has a damn hard time seeing in ourselves. You are my mirror Coya, and you reflect back at me all the wonderful things that I often miss seeing by myself. I love you girl, and I will walk back from Atlanta if I have to.

      • me and coya originally met back in the day in minneapolis (although she doesn't really remember). our second meeting was in brooklyn but it wasn't til the third time around that we actually chilled for an extended period of time. we had some mad funny times (riding around in windowless vans, etc.). coya is one of the coolest peeps i know. she just really needs to work on "keeping some composure!"

      • Okay I just saw picture #4 and I want to know what is wrong with Coya and that weird Asian chick?

All I can say about Coya is that if she says "All in" in poker- she's bluffing!

      • I love COYA! I like making robotic noises for her and coaching her on certain things ;). And I like teasing fools (esp. the racist ones) with her as well. She's great to party with, espescially at queer sex positive conferences where you never know what will happen! She has great politics and an equally great sense of humor. But don't cross her, cos she'll cut you!

      • one of the coolest experiences i've ever had performing was with Coya at the Loft. At the end we were both like "you were amazing", no "YOU were amazing", "no YOU ..."

ha ha Coya, I get the last word here - you are SO good girl! thanks for all you do for our community :)

      • Once upon a time there was a little indian named Hope. Some days...Hope would come to work and have on the same outfit as I...actually...it was nearly every day. At the time I sought an injunction from the Gay High Council banning her from shopping at the GAP for a period of six months. Alas...she had connections on the Council...and I found myself nearly blacklisted from retail chains across America. Coya just has that kind of power.

This woman and I have gone THROUGH it together. We've bawled our eyes out...we laugh about 99.22342343 percent of the time...but that less than 1% of the time...well..let's just say we have had some SPECTACULAR disagreements. There are few people I love in this world more than Coya...she's my partner in crime, late night Chipotle pal...and she asks all the right questions...as a matter of fact...the questions she asks are the toughest ones that I've ever had to answer...and I would be who I am...without her presence. Much love to you C-Monkey!
