Even before Doug and I met (and I was
legal), WMTS kept trying to get us to
date. I don't know why. I guess
because, at the time, I was as much of
a staple of the station as he was, but
he was just more famous. Oh, how many
dates they tried to set us up on... I
met Doug about two and a half years
ago. Pretty cool guy, he is. Probably
the most famous person on campus. His
birthday is just the day before mine,
so we always send each other Happy
Birthday emails. He was at my 19th and
20th birthday parties. I'm sure he'll
be ther for number 21. Love ya, Doug!
Back in the Dizzay, (and I mean Back
before the "Believe" days) Dougie used
to be a rapper. (no shit) He's been
sitting on these master tapes for like
5 or 6 years now, waiting for the
opportune time to release them. (I
think he's waiting for all the Tupac
archives to run out.) Other than that,
let's me tell you how we're connected.
Personally helped cut the mullet,
watched YourGirlfriend lick cinnamon
sex gel off his arm, sat back as he
united a community and charted on CMJ
with his song "Believe". (and here's
where he peaked.) After "Believe" his
celebrity status plunged him into the
dark world of drugs and alcohol, wine
women, and Rock N' Roll. He's never
been the same since, in fact I think
he's drunk in this picture. People say
that there will be a "return" after
Douggie comes back from rehab. I say,
they should be so lucky. Keep Pimpin',
