Patrick & I got off to a semi-rough start
because I drunkenly told "the guy in the
glasses" to "shut up." Wow... that was a low
point in my memory for several reasons. First,
the whole human decency aspect but more
importantly second...Whilst it is physically true,
"guy in glasses" does not come close to
describing Patrick. I have recently become re-
acquainted with this charming fellow and know
now that he is one of the coolest people this
side of the Atlantic. He gave me an art tour of
his home that ended with him deconstructing a
canvas that, while at first seemed to be black,
was actually a representation of the adversity
we all face when attempting to paint late at
night with others. Plus, we bonded while being
creepy and voyeuristic looking at other
peoples testimonials. So now that he's been
forgiving and nice and interesting and all
things Patrick I'm going to stalk him. Don't
worry...not in that "Fatal Attraction" sort of way
but much more the "Single White Female" way
where I slowly start to co-op his life and then
eventually fall out of a window (that's what
happens in the movie right?) You've been
warned, Patrick. It's your own fault for being a
bad-ass.
Once, for quite some time, I thought
Patrick was all sweetness and light.
Seriously. What a crock. I have
enjoyed watching my preconceived
notions being shattered one by one.
patrick is the master linguist who has
endlessly studied the intricacies of
the french-candian language. his most
famous discovery is that a simple word
like "chapeau" can evoke such diverse
emotions due to its pluripotent
nature. a genius among men he is.
pure genius.
