bathroom.
Club was its first night open, and it
was, I think, a Tuesday, maybe a
Wednesday, yet after a few hours, all
the beer had been drunk. And it was
good. And Trish said unto the crowd, We
are out of beer. But come back tomorrow
and there will be more.
And come we did.
And beer there was.
And there was much rejoicing.
I AM SOFA KING!
WE TALL DID!
Durham..they finally got AC/DC on the
juke...now, if they could get 24oz
PBR'S..hmmm..
it's because the bartenders would haved
to clean up puke all the time, but I
think that's a faulty argument because
a: I've never puked from drinking
jagermeister, and b: if she's anti-puke
she'd pull all the tequila. Trish
thinks jagermeister is frat-boyish, but
everyone I know besides her likes it.
Anyway, I don't live in CH anymore, but
I am visiting at the end of this month,
and I guess I'll have to put on my
sportsjacket and rattail and head
across the street if I want any cough-
syrupy licqeur.
this joint some guy named Lee kept
bragging about how tasty his
expensive scotch was... and I was
nursing a bottle of High Life or
something... and a bunch of
curly-headed "musicians" were
hollerin' and carryin' on back by the
billiard table... and the nice lady
behind the counter told me a story
about some pizza place up North that
served grinders and hoagies... and
that's all I remember. I'll probably go
back in there when I get back to
Carrboro for that damned court date.
get some Charles Gayle on the juke???
Love WXYC
I love the OCSC, its owner and staff.
It's my away from home home when I
leave home,and I don't like leaving
home, my safehouse.

back to the Hill/Carr. My only choice
on rare, all too brief visits to the
Kackalakki. Bless you, Tricia. You
are truly a woman with a beautiful
vision.
girlfriend and I just moved here from
Louisville, KY and are super glad we
found a cool bar such as this one to go
to. cool people work there too. my
girlfriend knew Colin before the move
and now he is my friend too. thanks.
also, being able to bring my dog is a
nice luxury we never had in
Louisville. hope you decide to let
them keep coming there. I know some
people are not down with that though -
like the asshole who accused my dog of
pissing in there no sooner than I
walked in the door. (said it pissed
him off and offended him) It's ok
though because I know my dog did not do
that. Knuckle is way cooler than
that. maybe it was the dog being held
by its owner up at the bar. (being held
for a reason don't you think?) Knuckle
sits on the couch with me the whole
time. whatever, this place rules.
hope everything stays the same. thanks
for being there ocsc.
