what do i say about myself? do i reveal something stupid, like when i am trying to be polite at work with guests, my voice goes into this weird soto voce thing that doesn't match the girth and stature that is me. do i try and lie about how i am completely happy with the way my life has gone thus far? do i talk about my guilty little secrets about watching the Golden Girls and the Nanny on Lifetime, TV for Women (i think this also qualifies for a sad secret)? do i tell you about being so square that i never tried marijuana until i was 25 years old? i suppose there are lots of things i can tell about me. my love of literature, music, movies. my love for my family, my dogs, and my duck and chicken. my love of carne asada fries, pizza (and all Italian food), and hot wings and beer. i want a new tattoo. i want to be in love. i want to be loved. i want a burrito. getting to know somebody is sometimes painful, but i think we could get along.

i'd like to meet someone who enjoys most (though not all) of the things on my favorites lists. no ignorant people please!
