About Me:
I'm adventurous and brave, independent & strong, ever aware and kind of naive, simultaneously. I'm ridiculously healthy, except for my addiction to brownies. I like summer more than anything, especially summers spent speaking Spanish (I really like alliteration) in distant countries. I rarely stop moving. I'm quite accident prone. It surprises me that I still have almost all of my teeth, despite my unintentional recklessness. I like fiddleheads in spring, acoustic guitars, and umbrella-sized leaves found in Costa Rican rainforests. I'm straightforward and place a lot of importance on honesty. I really like thinking on paper. Plus, I'm a mean croquet player. And funny. And tall.

Who I Want to Meet:
I want to meet kindred spirits with open minds and open hearts. Guys who love adventure, worldly or otherwise. Playmates, soulmates, and intelligent people who remind me to pay attention, and maybe even a snowboard instructor (because I'm not so great, despite my dream of one day being the master of the half-pipe).

Stephanya, you're one in a million or

her periodically, as she occasionally
shuns electronic wave-based
communications. So I pine. Meanwhile,
Steph is in her here and now wherever
she is, and to share this space with
her is one of life's looked-forward to
pleasures. From afar, Steph shares her
living in the now through unregulated
gift-giving. If she finds something for
you, she may just send it your way.
Nothing makes me happier, on a grey
inside nothing to do with myself day,
then an unexpected package from Steph.

Stephanie left us for the Space
Needle, health food, and Mariners.
Portland just can't compare to the
lure of the magnificent Puget Sound.
But often I try to heal, and stare out
my window, choke back a sob, and flip
through my Stephanie scrapbook.
There's Stephanie talking smack to the
patients, oh and here's one of
Stephanie belting out a folk ditty
with Julia at the Galaxy, and look at
Stephanie dancing on an exotic beach
with her latin lover, and here's
Stephanie and all of us playing with
sparklers outside of Shelbina's
palace, on a not so patriotic
holiday. Stephanie is gone, never to
be seen again, yet, strangely, I felt
her prescence strongly on Saturday,
envisioning her setting up camp in a
skirt and a no nonsense attitude, and
moaning the loss of Raoul. Oh,
Stephanie, we hardly knew ya! Send us

southern bolivian salt flats. damn was it
cold! we rode in a rusted out old jeep for
hundreds and hundreds of miles, with only a
morsel of potato salad and some stinky old
ketchup to carry us through. but at least it
was good "get to know you time" for stafanya
and i. it was on that trip that we hunted a
lepord-skinned emu and skinned it with a
spoon. we also slept inside the mouth of a
geyser and ran naked up the side of a wild
red mountain. oh stef! those were the days!
we would fill up our time in the jeep with

would always have to be the over worked

stephanie uncomfortable-- but she was
still really nice about it-- let's face
it, she could kick my ass-
