known Karey since the dark ages, and in fact
I'm still living in an ancient time warp
(otherwise known as Maryville Tennessee).
Not Karey, though. She got out and didn't
come back. I miss her. Once she was the
lead in The Secret Garden and she would
take a GIANT key, poking it at a door and
saying, "Is it here? Is it HERE?" There was
something very erotic about the way she said
that. Before we really knew each other we
were in another play put on by Blount County
Junior Playhouse (was it Tom Thumb?) and
Karey gave me a necklace with a peace sign
on it. That was middle school. I thought that
was the coolest and wore it all the time--
Karey doesn't remember. Oh the secrets I
