American Pie 2 is every bit as good as American Pie and I personally enjoyed it more than the first. Just like the first the movie does a good job of developing the characters and making you care what happens to them. But bottom line this is a comedy and it is hilarious especially the Uncut Version which I recommend you see. Pie 2 doesn't try to outfunny or outgross Pie it simply presents the characters in the next phase of their lives and the comedy is there. Forget the Cut theatrical version and rent the Uncut DVD, you won't be disappointed.
