I've known Dave for a relatively short time, but he has positively affected my life ever since he walked into it. Dave is the only person I have ever known who could pull off acting completely crazy and completely zen at the same time. He's always good for a relevant quote from someone smarter than us both. He's always willing to help. He's always up for a beer, and apparently he's pretty good at beating people with sticks - though I don't know this firsthand, thankfully.
I still don't believe that this guy comes from a family with soo many other brothers...it's probably why he's such a Guy's guy. If you need Japanese food, a wingman to hit the bars, or a good ole fashion kendo ass kickin' (HonS imitating Bobby demo stylz) then he IS your man! I look forward to many more good times in Vancity with this brother from another mother.
Ahhh, Akira... it's true, we haven't talked as much lately but I attribute that to being without the internet all summer and his increasing unwillingness to wear the damn blonde wig.

Apart from his good looks and style sensibilities, Akira is pure charm. He's laid back and intelligent and I always get the feeling that he's figured something out that the rest of us haven't yet. Maybe one of these days he'll let me in on his secret.
wow. After his testimonial, I finally understand what Akira thinks of me. Apparently, I'm a special little gremlin that lurks in delivery rooms, waiting to chomp on human flesh. Or, was it just another one of his twisted analogies? Hmm...TWISTED. That's an excellent word to describe him. At first, Mr. Taguchi was the friendly yet serious, psychology-talking bartender who had a wonderful understanding of what life is really about. Then, after a drunken - oh wait - he "was not drunk" night of bull-riding & line-dancing, I was thrust into this cowboy's world of talking to random girls on the street, crazy stories, country/ 80's music ("do u know who THIS is?"), Michael Jackson poses & lets not forget the movie quotes/impersonations. People, u have not lived until u hear his rendition of "I'm So Ronrey". It's pretty incredible.
Akira, hangin' w/ u is always a workout 'cause I laugh SO MUCH. It makes all the physical abuse u inflict upon me worthwhile. C
