Who I Want to Meet:
Peter Tosh sang it best: I'm a progressive man and I love progressive people.
I also have similar affinities to those of Dr. Aziz, but I won't mention them for fear of reprisal and/or misunderstanding. :)

Doug's about me stuff. I love Doug, he's
wonderful.
He has more energy, passion, wit and
intelligence in his little finger than
anyone I've ever known. I'm convinced
that he is the most actualized 20-
somethings in the world. And he sings
a damned good rendition of Roxanne.
rides ever! and I miss them...
Despite his breadth of worldly
knowledge, I must confess, he has
some issues with the geography of
the U.S. midwest...
tireless crusader for human rights and
incredbily knowledgeable on baseball
statistics. At first glance those two
facets of Doug's personality and
interests may not seem to have much in
common, but when you consider the fact
that he's a Red Sox fan, it all seems
to fall into place. Who other than a
Sox fan knows the rigors of human
suffereing and let down? As an
advocate of non-violence, I think that
if Doug made it through the game seven
loss to the Yankees without getting
violent, he has once again proven
there is a strong correlation between
his political/social beliefs and his
choice of baseball teams. All in all
Doug is a great friend to hang out
with, whether its a baseball game, a
protest, or just kickin back and
having a beer.
And on top of all that good stuff
that, how many people have an "ass" at
the end of their name?
