Amber Chia. She is one of the rising stars in our modelling industry, where she regularly performs in fashion shows, print ads, TV commercials and music videos, all the while looking as glamorous as ever.

Amber started her modelling career at the age of 17. She travelled from her hometown in Sabah to the capital city, Kuala Lumpur, to try to fulfill her childhood dreams of one day becoming an international model.

Finally her big break came in February 2004, when Amber was selected by GUESS to be one of their 15 finalists for the GUESS Watches Timeless Beauty contest which was held in Switzerland. She was one of 4 Asian contestants, and the only representative from Malaysia. She was tipped as the hot favourite for the title!

Amber is definitely on her way to emulating Ling Tan as another Malaysian super model to shine on the international stage. We wish her all the BEST!

For Amber Chia who has been modelling since she was 18, its all in a days work. Being the new ambassador for the international label Guess Watches, however, is breaking new ground, and Ipoh-born Amber is taking on her role with relish as job offers pour in.
