Greetings from lovely Baghdad, Iraq! I'll be here until around Christmastime. Yes, I was against the war, yet somehow I ended up here anyways. I am keeping a journal of my time here... message me if you want the weekly updates.

Normally I live in Baltimore, but I try to be elsewhere as much as possible. I've ridden camels across the Gobi in Mongolia, been stung by more mosquitos than I can count in Kazakhstan, been woken up with offers of vodka in Russia, ordered chicken by imitating one in a restaurant in China, stepped over open-air sewers in Belize, discussed Hemingway in Iceland, clambered up ruins in Mexico, dragged a suitcase across Spain, eaten a scorpion in Thailand (although now I'm a vegetarian), and had my vehicle shot at by insurgents in Iraq.

And I wear glasses!
