complete asshole to him. Eventually,
we became friends, and like many of
Steve's friends I would spazz out a
lot. Steve does, too, but it's okay
because we all, ultimately, follow him
and swear fealty to him and etc. When
we first became friends we both swore

remember him calling me Senior year
drunk as a Lord numerous times. The
last time I visited him in Philly, I
vomited in a stranger's toilet. Our
beliefs change, but we stay together.

gentleman with age--he's a lot nicer to
me now. But maybe that's because I'm not
a "flat plain, big mountain" anymore!
You're one of a kind kid.
