I've most recently taken up volleyball and windsurfing. I'm not good at either, but hey it's Hawaii. Swimming with sharks is pretty fun too. I also like Thailand, Skiing, tennis, running, lifting, languages, international travel, SUSHI, weather (snow in particular: I'm in love with Paul Kocin), I also have an unhealthy obsession with olives and key lime pie.

And the Band Played On, Einstein's Dreams, Anything by David Sedaris or Bill Bryson, The Power of One, The Tao of Physics, The Sex Lives of Cannibals, Dobri Ljudi U Vremenu Zla (Good People in a Time of Evil).....

All time: Jaws (I know it's dorky, but it reminds me of New England, and I love sharks!!!!), other: Shallow Hal (maybe my 2nd favorite movie), And the Band Played On, Moulin Rouge, Monty Python, Shaun of the Dead, Austin Powers (mostly the first one), Waking Ned Devine, Anchorman, Brokeback Mtn., Christmas Story, Contact, Braveheart, Gangs of New York, The Big Lebowski.....

So much good music out there! Keane, James Blunt, Eva Cassidy (Songbird will be my wedding song :u) All American Rejects, Eskimo Joe, Howie Day, Coldplay, The Killers, Jenny Lewis, Radiohead, Gnarles Barkley, Gorillaz, just to name a few, but so so much more. Also Fields of Gold (for personal reasons). And I especially love the cello!!!

Lost, 24, Survivor, Simpsons, Family Guy, Law and Order (reg and SVU), and cheesy horror movies that only seem to come on at 3pm on Saturday afternoons

I am a doctor in Hawaii. Life is pretty good, except Hawaii is very far away from everything and everyone I know, but I guess variety and change is what makes life interesting, and Hawaii is definately that. I'm enjoying my time here though. I've gotten pretty tan which is tough for an Irish-Norwegian New Englander to do, but I manage. I'm also trying lots of new local things like windsurfing. I also swam with a shark the other day (although that wasn't so much planned). Anyway, there's lots more, but you're gonna have to come visit to find out, and you should. How many of you can actually choose between snow-skiing down Mauna Kea, windsurfing on Honolua Bay, or kayaking through Waimea canyon, just on your day off???

As long as you're fun, I'm sure I'll want to meet you. Also, I want to meet Gilda Radner (perhaps the funniest woman ever!) And I'm on a mission to find either someone from the cast of Lost (preferrably Sawyer) or Dog the Bounty Hunter.
