About Me:
Born and raised Vancouverite, the only Canadian in my family.
I want to open-source the planet, start a community out in
nature, fuse science & spirituality, create CDs, Books,
Magazines, AI, plays, movies, meet aliens, found a Jedi
Training Academy, and travel the world.
I program too much and write too little.
Living on the east side with folks I love, hanging out with my community, seeing what we can accomplish.... these are a few of my favourite things.

Who I Want to Meet:
Fun folks who wonder at the world, enjoy life, sit up until
3:00 AM drinking tea and discussing the nature of the
universe; musicians, fools, wanderers, storytellers, those
who are on a path, and those who are still making their own.

wildly funny and breathtakingly
intelligent, he's also truly and wonderfully
kind, plus he's one of the best listeners
I've ever met. I'm ecstatic that our paths
have continued to cross over time and
hope they will always continue to do so.
amen. A good friend who's more fun than a
squadron of sequined party monkeys...
naturally! This fella naturally finds
resonance with other people. But he is also
an incontrovertible individual. He introduced
colloquialisms like "y'all" and "folks" into
West Coast Canadian highschools back
when grunge or some other trend told us
using "dude" or "schwing!" was more the
thing to do. While Dan has some
inconsistencies, such as his "pepperoni... no
tofu... no pepperoni... no bean curd" diets
(which have probably levelled off by now),
he is an unswerving man of grace and a
bearer of joyous portence where it counts. I
must say that to me Dan is the silliest and
most addictively imaginative guys I've ever
known. Since kindergarten we have shared
a lifetime of laughs and make believe, ours
is a lanky narrative longer than any pair of
Dan's raggedy pants.
in his humour I have found joy
in his intelligence I have found
inspiration
in everything he does, I am astounded
and so very blessed to know him.
Dalai Lama blood with a spoonfull of
computer geek DNA, add some Monty
Python-esque spazzery in the mix and
pour it in to a tall, cool human being
donning a killer smile?
You get Daniel!
My best friends bro, who therefore
shares a brotherliness with me, no
matter how infrequently I get to see
him, is a fella what rocks (both in
a "YOU ROCK", and "like a baby") every
room he enters!
One of the more interesting people I've
had the fortune of knowing.
most amazing people I have the good
fortune of knowing. He is a bear of
very stout brain and gives great hugs.
I'd say this even if we hadn't shared
the same womb. I'd say it twice.
1 Cor. 13:4-7: Dan is patient, Dan is
kind. He does not envy, he does not
boast, he is not proud. He is not rude,
he is not self-seeking, he is not
easily angered, he keeps no record of
wrongs. Dan does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth. He always
protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres. (Oh wait --
that's 'love'. Ah well, I love you to
your bones bruddaman!)
I think my hands are turning into
snails again...
