Tiffany is a major inspirational role-model for me.
I've known her all my life. She found taiko, with
no help from anyone, and went for broke to learn
it. Now, she's like super famous and barely lives
at home, because she's drumming in Moscow or
Sado or Switzerland.
I am so awed by the fact that she knows exactly
who she is, and what she should be doing, and
then totally rocks it!
I love her.
Oh, and she's the first lesbian I ever knew, and
thank goodness. When I was in junior high
school, a girl spread a rumor around the school
that a friend of mine was a lesbian. This friend
was sooo not a lesbian. And I knew it, because
real lesbians in the 80s wore rainbow suspenders
and bowties. And, they had entire collections of
bowties. Like metallic ones.
