About Me:
I'm an intense, quirky, and outgoing chick who loves Asian culture, language, literature, and politics; animals; and anything social. I'm not much of a bar-scene gal; instead, I prefer to make good friends and then hang out playing cards or games, chatting and joking, and having long conversations about the most important and the most irrelevant aspects of life. I'm upbeat and talkative, and most people either love me or can't stand me. Take your pick! :) I'm currently a graduate student (international relations and communication) at Boston University and an ESL/job readiness teacher at a nonprofit in Chinatown. Oh, and I'm OBSESSED with Harry Potter!!!
Anyway, if you want to learn more about me, feel free to visit my blog: Abbieeeee's Xanga page.

Oh, and FYI in case you were wondering, yes, I am Abbie Baker. I changed my name when I got married. :)

Who I Want to Meet:
I'd love to connect up with old friends from high school and college. I also enjoy meeting new people, but just for friends or conversation, as I'm happily married. :)

to "serenade" her by typing song lyrics
on my calculator screen, and she
would "sing" back to me. She was my
Snookums, and I was her Daddoo. It
was all quite bizarre, but I'd like to
think it was incredibly cute!
years, and I never fail to be amazed
and inspired by her incredible
energy. She is amazingly smart,
highly driven, totally passionate, and
fiercely loyal to people and causes
she cares about. Even so, she always
has the ability to make me laugh,
because she never takes herself too
seriously . . . and with the people we
went to college with, that was a rare
quality that had a huge impact on me.
She and I probably didn't even know it
at the time, but when I think about
all the days and nights we spent
gossiping and laughing, I think it's
safe to say she was my very first fag
hag. :)
