his mellow self when we run into each other

first time we really hung out we started on a
road trip from boston to upstate new york. i
picked him up at his ol' place in the south
end some early summer morning a few
years back, and we headed out 90 west.
bout the time we passed albany, he reached
into his bag and opened a bottle of what
looked like beer. it was mid afternoon, so i
thought to myself, "ahhh, startin early, that's
cool." i was driving, so my glance at the

"brew." turns out it was reed's ginger brew,
and it was still an excellent thing to have on
