loud. Also, she pulled her punches a
little bit after I accidently
detonated a bottle rocket underneath
her friend after a demolition
derby...which I took as a sign of true
affection.

with friendly eyes for many years,
earning her a place on the high shaky
shelf of my pleasant memories. Also,
she saved excellent seats at the last
4th of July demolition derby, a good
deed that I hope is returned to her
three-fold.
to say about this lady. I'll recall my
fondest memory at this very moment to
illustrate my deepest affections for
her:
Summertime. Cloudless sky. Mountains
rising up all around her. Barefoot in
the freshly turned soil. Cowboy hat,
vintage white slip, sunglasses too big
for her face. She's pulling weeds for a
moment in the far-too-large garden, but
soon the task at hand loses out to a
much-preferred nap in the grass. I wish
I would've taken the time to watch you
sleep all day.
Thank god you wouldn't be made into
what I would've made you into. You are
perfect in your imperfections and I'm
glad to know you in the way I do now.
