uhh...i have a library card

playing my cello in the park for people's spare change, reading, running, dancing, traveling, languages, eating good food, conversing silently with myself in my head, talking to a couple of other close friends

though i love to read, i have an unfortunate tendency to forget any book 5 minutes after i've finished reading it.

same thing with movies.

bach, beethoven, brahms, bartok, stravinsky, prokofiev, phish, jack johnson, led zeppelin, cake, paco de lucia, and sometimes bad hip-hop/rap music

okay, time to finally update my profile. no, i do not live in germany anymore- i live in madrid, spain. it's lovely here. unfortunately my current job (teaching english) requires more time and energy than i would like, but without the job, i wouldn't have a visa. i know that i need to add a picture to my profile, and i have every intention of doing it soon, but i am poor and don't own a digital camera. i don't own much of anything in fact, and i've been feeling rather dowdy lately, next to all the beautiful, glamorous, well-dressed spanish women around here. i'm happy though, and really have no complaints, other than that i would rather be teaching little kids (either cello or english). adults are so boring, and you can't sing songs or run around with them in class. i will probably only be here in spain for a year, after which i may try another stint in latin america. i have absolutely no desire to go home at this point.
