I'm fair. I treat people the way I see they treat others, but most especially the way they treat me.

I'm generally quiet in the company of new people. I don't believe in speaking just to fill the silence.

When I'm more comfortable with a person, I can be extremely stupid, and won't mind laughs at my expense. I see the ability to laugh at one's self as an admirable quality.

I can't stand arrogance. Real or otherwise. In fact, pretend-arrogance shown to cover up insecurities turn me off a great deal.

I like to laugh, and if you know how to make me laugh, I would love you immediately.

In my natural, unaltered, unaffected state, where my head is at its clearest, I'm a very negative person. This worries me a little, as I feel it could potentially hinder my life's quest for happiness.

Yes, that IS in fact, my life's quest. I only wish to be happy. How exactly I'm going to accomplish that is what I'm still trying to figure out.

I absolutely love and adore children, and I'm quite decent at the biological sciences hence my aspirations of becoming a pediatrician.

And since we're on the subject of children, I want to have two of my own. I think I would make an okay mother, at best. But maybe that's just me being negative and purposefully self-critical. Maybe I'll be the best mother. I'm certainly going to be my child's best mother. Haha. Like the kid has a choice.

Being in a different country has changed my mindset a lot. I thought I was pretty open-minded before I left the Philippines, but I quickly realized I have much adjusting to do. I can now say that I am more open-minded and flexible with regards to people and their behaviors. However, this does not translate to me not treating you the way I see fit. Cause you can bet that if you act like an idiot, I will treat you like one.

I'd like to be nice. I'd like to be kind. I thought I was both of those, but upon closer introspection, I realized I'm not. I can be pretty harsh. I don't like weakness. I have a lot of those myself, which might explain why I don't have a lot of self-love. Lol.

I'm aware of the general truth that everyone's got their own weaknesses and issues to deal with. But I have a lot of respect towards people who I think deal with those weaknesses with a decent amount of thinking, practicality, and grace.

I'm moody. This is one of my bare-your-soul moods. I might take this down in a bit. But gee, baring your soul feels awful nice once in a while.

Someone I will respect enough to call my friend.
